Good to know
We are a rural property up a track with 2 gates. We are nestled in the gorgeous Clwydian hills and the surrounding land is farmed by our neighbours.
Dogs are welcome however they must be kept in sight at all times. Lambing and calfing tends to happen around spring time. Spring at Banhadlen is a magical time as the lambs and calves are born and the bluebells explode into life up by the stream.

I could not recommend Richard and his family more. As a fairly experienced Airbnb guest I would safely say we have never felt more welcomed. The cottage that adjoins the property is nothing short of beautiful, and thiew views of the Welsh rolling hills are stunning! I would highly recommend a stay here, exceptional value and you can really tell that they enjoy having people to visit. We felt like we were visiting family We would love to visit again in the Summer. Thanks so much guys and very well done 🙂
A great rural cottage. We recommend to stay here. A village pub down the lane. Close to fantastic walks locally. Beautiful views. A home away from home.
This little place is a gem. It’s cute and quiet and in such beautiful grounds. Me and my dog felt very at home, with lovely walks just up the hill. It’s so peaceful - and I totally relaxed for a few days. Richard and his family are lovely and very responsive if in need of anything. I must have gone through 4 buckets of fire wood! But nothing was ever too much trouble. They are the perfect hosts, and have obviously thought about what people need from a restful stay there. Will be going back for sure.
I definitely recommend a stay at this lovely cottage! Richard and Josie are very welcoming hosts, and made me and my dog feel completely at home. The cottage is spacious, beautifully furnished with a fully kitted out kitchen, fabulous rain shower and a very comfortable bed. The location is stunning, with far reaching views, and there’s a footpath nearby that takes you up hills for even more breathtaking views. Richard provided info about where to do some great walks, and it’s an ideal place to explore the wonderful North Wales countryside. Wish I’d booked for a longer stay, but I’ll definitely be back!
